This B. Smithi is a recent addition to our home. I picked it up from a friend of mine that works at a pet store. The little guy is missing his first leg on the right side. What is so special to me about this picture is that is my six year old daughter's hand that it is on. She is really interested in tarantulas and other inverts. I'm encouraging her and we currently have 3 T's with plans to order more as soon as appropriate housing can be set up. She also has her own Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches that I was hoping would provide me with offspring for feeders. Has anyone ever raised them? Any trick to getting them to breed? I have a male and two females and they've been together for at least two months with no signs of babies.
