Looks normal to me. That bald spot on the back will turn black when molting and with next molt I think it will start to get some of adult colors.

+1 nothing out of the ordinary, the abdomen will darken before the molt and then later on after the old exuviae is shed the abdommen will be back to looking normal filled with new U-hairs and fresh color.

The title of the thread is 2 BLACK dots, so I would say the OP isn't talking about the bald spot. However, I see nothing but an ordinary bald/ pink spot from kicking hairs. OP any other pics or descriptions? In this pic the head is in pretty good focus, but the abdomen isn't. Perhaps another try if you are still worried.

First off, that is a BEAUTIFUL Brachy you got there, I personally see nothing odd about it, but I also don't see the black spots your talking about.

Also, I could be wrong but I don't think that is a Smithi, I think its a Brachypelma emilia. I'm not positive, but I think you should at least do an image search.

I think I see what you're talking about... Most likely normal, but better pictures would help.

Did I circle the "black dots"? If so, that's just the hairs that it hasn't kicked off yet.

It doesnt look like a typical Smithi to me, but I have no experience with Brachy species, so idk.

Maybe it'd be prudent to stick with giving advice/opinions on stuff you do have experience with, to avoid confusing others. In this case, I believe you are wrong, as even though it is still a sling, the leg patterns characteristic of a B. smithi are already evident.

To the OP, I don't see anything in your picture that you should be concerned about.
