I have a problem. Last night I had some friends over and they were handling my ball python. One of them saw a very small white thing climbing on him. I thought it might be critters in his substrate, so today I bathed him changed his substrate and bleached out his viv. Then I go to clean my B. latteralis and I find these tiny little white things, they are so small I didn't see them at first, they look like little grains of sand, except they move. I got out my magnifying glass and looked but all I could tell was that they are not any kind of worm or larve.
What are these things? Are they dangerous to my snake, my roaches, or my T's who eat the roaches? How do I get rid of them? Can anyone help?
