Hi guys!

So I’ve had my B Hamorii since June 8th. She wandered out in the open for a bit and seemed to be settling in, so I tried feeding her multiple times but she refused food so I thought she was maybe in pre molt! Then about 2/3 weeks later she blocked off her hide and hasn’t been out since, I’ve read this is quite normal but I just can’t help but worry about her in there! I haven’t offered her food since she has blocked off her hide and there has been no sign of her having come out either! I look in her tank daily and always provide water but as I said before I am just worried and am resisting the urge to take a look incase I do find an angry, disturbed T!

She'll be fine. Once she's done doing whatever she is doing, or gets hungry, she'll be out again. Don't worry.

People has to follow the tarantula and not the other way around. If she wants to eat, she unblick her hide!

This is normal for that species. Mine has taken a while in the past to go through premolt. I have had one t burry itself for 5 months without coming out

Perfectly normal behaviour really, no worries. Keep the waterdish full and leave the rest to your spider ;)

Yeah I get the feeling had a 2 inch H maculata sling bury herself for like 6 months before coming out. Don't worry you should be fine!
