Congradulations! I was so happy when mine started becoming adults.roberto said:I have two male dubias and one female that have matured! Haven't seen any hanky panky yet, but I am crossing my fingers for some babies in the near future.
It takes time. I started with about 150 Blaptica dubia that I aquired from James at blaberus.com about 6 months ago. Right now they are all adults and I have had a little population explosion. I have somewhere between 500 and 1000 small nymphs all the way from 3/16 of an inch long new borns clear up to 3/4 of an inch long nymphs all running around with the adults.Dom said:Congrats!
I bought a group of dubia nymphs 2 months ago and have had adults maturing for the past month. Do you happen to know if they breed right away? I've never seen mine breeding or even the males getting cosy with the females.
Hey James, how is it going? All of the roaches that I aquired from you are turning into adults and breeding like crazy! I will have thousands by the summer of 2006!james said:yes, the breed almost right away and it's mainly in the dark of night which is why you don't see them. Orange heads will still be white (freshly molted) and mating.

I think you can use them all, it depends of the size of your T'sJohn J Starr Jr said:Hey James, how is it going? All of the roaches that I aquired from you are turning into adults and breeding like crazy! I will have thousands by the summer of 2006!
Anyway, I have a question for the Poecilotheria genus owners out there. I am getting interested in this genus of T. and I was wondering if any or all of my following species of S.A./C.A._roaches would be acceptable as their only food supply even for some T. hatchlings if I decide to breed them...
Blaptica dubia
Blaberus discoidalis
Blaberus parabolicus
Blaberus craniifer
Blaberus fusca
...or would you reccommend something else???
Thanks,
