Just sharing some pics of one of my Curlyhairs. Was on its back for about 8 hours then started the actual molt which took another two hours to complete. Size remained the same about 6 inches. Here is before:

Nice pics, the albopilosum looks great. They look good with a new exoskeleton and hairs, don't they?

Nice pics and a nice looking curlyhair. They are an underrated T, beautiful after a molt. What is the temperament like on yours Rob?

Yes, they tend to wash out into a dull brown/tan quickly, but right after the molt they are simply stunning.

I have two adults, one can be easily handled with no hair kicking or threat posture, but this one here is really skittish and can't be handled (at least I'm not going to push the issue if it doesn't want to be handled:) )

My B. albo moulted about 9 days ago. I came home from work and found her sprawled on her back. Four hours later she was done. She's probably about 5 3/4" now.

They ARE great looking spiders after a moult. Very velvety black with those rust colored hairs.

Mine doesn't "appreciate" being handled either. She doesn't get defensive, but it does stress her out.
