A P. irminia spiderling's mother and siblings are killed and eaten by a T. blondi. Years later, the Suntiger and Goliath meet again, and the Suntiger plans her revenge while the Goliath plans to kill the Suntiger for a bit of sport. The climax involves the Suntiger tricking the Goliath to follow her up into the trees, and then causing her to fall, and being a terrestrial tarantula, she dies upon hitting the ground. We could get some awesome tarantula vs tarantula action in there, and maybe the Goliath could fight some other big bugs like beetles or even scorpions.

Uhm... I would add Papa Ciccio (Pope Francis) in the movie, as the Theraphosa moggy mastermind, otherwise risk to suck like a black & white silent film based on a novel written by a Oregon failed author that killed himself in those woods that the FBI still have to find the body :-s

Actually now that you mention it, if the irminia were male, he could use his tibial hooks to just shove the blondi backward until she fell off the tree branch in a dizzying camera angle. Would make for an awesome climax.

Ooh! If the irminia is male, he could seduce the blondi to get her up in the tree! That gives you a little romantic tension, leading up to the climactic scene - after all, in the movies, sex sells!

After which his wife gives him a big hug telling him she's proud of him.

Plot Twist!

The T.blondi that falls from the tree was actually a T.stirmi the whole time. The P.irminia did not know until after the T.stirmi. The T.blondi is still out there The end.

Bonus scene after credits.

There was sac that belonged to the T.stirmi its brood is out for revenge.

The Sequal...

The P.irminia has become the very thing it hated. It must now choose to finish the job, live a life of a constant nomad one step ahead of the horde of revenge seeking T.stirmi, or accept its faith...

The horde of the T.stirmi brood would be voiced James Franco, Seth Rogan, Jonas Hill, and Chanum Tatum.
