What is that?
Amazonica purple?

Peru purple?

Ecuadorian purple?

There are too many species with such names...

Could anyone please enlighten me if there's a certain species to which this name relates? Or is it a general thing from which I can't really tell? :? :?

Its a general thing for now, A. sp. ecuador purple, A. sp. purple, are all the same spider. No sp. yet for the majority of Avicularia as the whole genus is in bad shape for names sake. The A. sp. purple peru reportedly get huge though.

The same spider? But they all seem so different in shape and coloration... the name really addresses to them all? or do they all end up looking the same as well?

I believe the hobby name for this particular spider is Avicularia sp. "Peru Purple", but until it is recognized and officially named, it will not have a scientific name. That's the way it is for the Avicularia complex. Even if it were named, you may not be able to know if it is indeed what you bought it as. Regardless, Avicularia is a beautiful genus, and my absolute favorite.

Is there a real way to know if it's any of the others? or do the others have a totally different name?

Also, can anyone put a plink to a mature specimen's picture?
