I think avicularia pucallpa is a strange species because there is not enough information about it on the internet. Is this species more valuable and rare than juruensis? Does this species have a collector's value? When google juruensis m2 peru purple and pucallpa is written, some images are the same. Can juruensis and pucallpa be mated healthily? I will buy L5 versicolor and I am thinking of buying L2 pucallpa as well, but I am confused, should I buy juruensis or pucallpa? It seems to me that it is still unclear what pucallpa is. I would like to read your experiences. If there is a mistake in the translation, I apologize

try this.

in either case, do not breed both together. its a bad idea.

if you want to breed tarantulas, stick to tarantulas that don’t have an sp in the name. You’ll know for sure you are breeding the right tarantulas together, if you have an honest dealer.

some “sp” are truely the same, and there are also “hobby” type tarantulas.

but why make it complicated.

Bunu deneyin.

My seller is probably not that reliable. He has brought a lot of this type of pucallpa and is trying to sell it by making various embellishments. It is best to buy pucallpa. It does not seem like a good idea, and besides, its colors are not as bright as in the pictures.

then its simple: buy tarantulas that are known.

buy from a trusted source that does not give you bad gut feeling.

stick to tarantulas that everyone already has and have experience with.

i would rather buy a c versicolor, or avic avic, at a good price, then a sp that is boasted because of colors.

it's not commonly kept, that doesn't mean it's rare in the wild necessarily, only rare in the hobby. Animals like that tend to be more $, but personally unless the animal is rare in the wild, you not find me paying some of the prices I see for tarantulas only because it is rare in the hobby.
Males are quite striking if I recall correctly.

The only value anything has is what someone is wiling to pay for it. They are far more Ts that are far more $$

No, you should NEVER EVER create hybrids, NOT EVER. Scientists are not finished determining if some species are related or not. They could indeed be different species. Avics have NOT been characterized by DNA science yet, so many types may be unique species. DO NOT breed them!!

When it comes to certain localities the only person who knows what it is at times is the person who collected it in the jungle. Animals are exported out of countries many times using legal NAMES that are allowed, but the actual animal in the box is NOT that species.

As you said, no one really knows, so DO NOT breed it with something. NO one wants hybrids. No one wants to buy a versi, and learn they have a hybrid! ;) o_O

If you're not sure whether you have two of the same species, just DON'T DO IT.

Thanks for advices and experiences okey i understand never making hybrid tarantulas and not buy a pucallpa
You can buy one, it's not called pulcallpa any longer though....it's been reclassified as one of the juronesis morphotypes....not positive which one....I should, as I used to have a couple......I think it was synonymous with aurantica before reclassification.
