Does any one know if the Avicularia azuraklaasi exists in the US or UK trade? I think it's an absolutely beautiful Avic. and I would be most interested in owning one.

I think in the past year and a half, I have seen them on a price list one time. I believe it was Midwest exotic pets that had them. They go by the common name of "powder blue pinktoe".
I keep an eye out regularly for which Avics are available, but I haven't seen any of these in a long time.
There might be a possibility that they are in the UK trade, since most of the sites that have pics and info on them are from the UK and/or Germany.

Do you know where abouts in Germany? I have a ffriend in Les Landes, France that will be visiting the US next month. and I'm *HOPING* to talk him into bringing me a few T's from over there. I'm not sure if he will be able to get them into US customs or not, though.
