I pulled my Avicularia avicularia egg sac yesterday - it was day 30 - and found that none of the eggs had developed. I removed only about six that were shriveled up or black.
When I searched online, I saw numerous posts where people said that they were infertile when they looked like this...
However, when I looked more closely at a couple of them, after putting them into the incubator, I saw this...
I set the incubator up with a heat mat close by, not directly on the incubator, but along the side of the bookcase they are in. After about twelve hours I had this...
After about 24 hours there are some who are sprouting legs...
My question is whether the others are going to end up developing? Could they be that far behind the ones who are already sprouting their legs? Or are they a lost cause at this point?
Although a couple are sticking together, many of them are not and roll around freely.
