Yesterday evening, I paired my MM A. avicularia with my favorite female for the fourth and last time. I first paired them on 09/21/09 and they were quite eager. I have tried to pair them on 2 other occasions after I saw evidence of a sperm web, but neither was interested. Last night, the male spent quite a while chasing the female, and braved a chance encounter with her fangs to have his way. She eventually gave in after a lot of drumming and chasing, and he managed to walk away unscathed. I will share my pictures with you (I know they are not great, but I try).
