This is my first Tarantula, Attila. (Rose hair) She's basically badass, and scratches her a** on a daily basis when she's not sun bathing.

And this is her molt, which she graciously let me keep. I noticed she got about twice as fluffy afterwards.

I'm still in the learning process for a lot of tarantula related info.

I have his/her molt. How do I go about checking the sex?

Also, how long do male rosie's usually live?

the pedipalps should look like they have a shiney rounded tip (not the stickypads or claws) and check for hooks on the front legs.

ive had my MM rosea for a year now, hes still going strong and eating like a champ, i have heard they can live a few years after their ultimate molt

The last molt he/she did, I swear, I don't know how he fit inside of it. It looked like a completely different T.

Ultimate molt perhaps?
