at last! it's a female!

i bought this a g.grossa just 2 months ago, it was only like 2inches and i was not sure of it's gender, it molted after a week when i got it but it's exuvium was destroyed so i could no tell it's gender. but just this week it molted and its a female! i was so happy and i can now breath! it was so beautiful especially the heart like mirror patch on its abdomen

I just received a pair yesterday so I know how excited you must be. I got a 3.5" female and a 3" male. They are beautiful and docile. I believe that they give G pulchra a run for their money.

Wow I never heard of this species. I thought it was a pulchra. So is it always black from sling to adult?

Its actually drak brown like chocolate, they have a silver mirror patch which is huge, and the carcapace shines silver. I believe that they get very dark as they get older, almost completely black.
