At about what age and/or size can you ventrally sex a GBB?

Mine is about a year and a half old and I would estimate 3in in legspan. I would post this to the sexing category with a picture but I don't have a good way to take a picture at the moment, when I do I will potentially try and make a post there, but I do have a good look at their underside right now; I don't see any tibial hooks or any "belly button" marking near/between the lower book lungs. I want to assume they're female but I don't wanna say that with complete certainty *yet*. Any advice?? Thanks!!

Only way and best way is to sex the molt. Anything else with alot of T's is a guessing game. If it was a C. versicolor those are easy to sex without a molt, gbb not so.

If it molts into a mature male the eboli on the pedipalps look like boxing gloves.

I only rely on the molts, it’s hard to ventral sex them. Some I can. Some I can’t. Making it a tossup.o_O

IMO, these guys are one of the hardest when you factor in the black ventral side and heavy webbing/limited viewing opportunities. I can make a good guess at about 1.5' but after that it's tricky for me. I have one presumed female because she's too large/old to be a male but even at 6" I could be wrong. I'd start getting suspicious if there was an obvious change in behavior like wandering/pacing.
