assasin bug colonies

Does anyone out there raise assasin bugs? I would like some info on starting an assasin bug colony. Any info would be greatly appreciated. :?

Hey Mantidassasin, What substrate do you use or does it really matter? I would like to start a breeding colony. Also, I was wondering how long they live in captivity. :?

Potting soil is fine. I prefer a mix of broken down dead bug bodies and I keep some sowbugs and roaches in to chew up new dead bodies. It amazes me that in the one cage I've had to have dumped in 20 gallons of food in over the years and there's still only a 1 inch layer of dirt on the bottom (I do not clean their cages). Still, I guess I have taken out a lot of assassins.... doesn't add up though.
Following maturity, 2 years (longer with imagination and shorter with abuse).
