Commonly known as a Wheel Bug. We caught this guy today in the kid's sidewalk chalk box on the back patio.

Thank you! We had a wild caught one last year, caught in October and died in February.

This is our first nymph. He/she fed last night and has a swollen abdomen now, waiting on a molt! Very exciting stuff.

Thought I would update here. The bug is now named Enzo, and he/she is eating well! Still waiting on a molt, not sure what instar it is.
Ok was taken right after a feed, you can see how fat he/she is.

Any idea when we can sex it? Or if it can be sexed, what is it?

Funny thing is, this is after a 5 day fast. We just got back in town today and fed it. It just gorges itself lol!
