very nice, I been playing paint ball in a place very similar to this, long herb ... and I found many MANY yellow spider a bit similar to yours but certainly not the same species, still very nice

biggest i've spotted had 2" legspan

they do look alot like "yours" i guess: Argiope aurantia ?

This spider is very common now in Poland (few years ago it was very rare, and now is still under protection). I see a lot of them every week on xerotermic meadows.

This one is mine. Pics are really bad, because they were taken during bad weather and there was not enough light.

aurantia or argentata, i forget which ones. i've been neglecting the poor true spiders for myglamorphs and especially centipedes ( :evil: ) recently
