Ok I cought this spider in my house I have no idea what it is but its about 1cm body length. Do I house and feed it like my T. It's eaten like 6 small crix since I cought it yesterday, my T. eats like one a week maybe. Do small spiders over eat or will they stop like a T. Right now its in a small cricket keeper with about 2 cm of substrate and a very well cleaned beer bottle cap with a few drops of water in it. When its not eating it digs itself right below the surface wherever, but throw a little cricket in there and it full out runs right to it to eat it. Anything I need to know, different from what I have going right now?

you could try adding a stick to see if it will web, but some webbers need airflow to web with

It has stoped eating as much. When I cought it its abdomen was about the same size as its body now its almost twice the size of its body so I think its finally full. I'm pretty sure its a terestrial spider it looks like the wolf spiders I've seen around here all my life. Its much more active then my T though, and man is it fast.

one of my fav male house spiders (i later mated him to a wild female that lived in my backyard) was named Electron... he was quick.

i found a females web in my backyard and released the male at the very wispy edges of it. through a convenient hole shot thru my sliding glass door blinds (soft shot pellet guns aren't *that* soft) i watched him tap and creep towards her, tap and creep. i didn't watch the whole show, which was probably 2-3 hours, but would peak back occasionally.

in a typical of nature ending, when the male was escaping the female post-mating he blundered into a Pholcus Daddy-Long-Legs-Spider / cellar spider web and was done in. even though Electron must have outmassed the Pholcus by at least 10:1 he still lost =P
