In this link that I am including is four pictures of a spider I recently found and I am heavily concerned it's a brown recluse. The kicker is I live in Eugene Oregon, and my understanding is these things don't live in Oregon......ever! So I'm turning the pics over to you guys to see if I can get some clearification. Thank you

There are a few structures here in FL that have been found to be populated by both L. reclusa and L. laeta but they are single cases, there is no proof yet an established breeding population, but nearly anyone you meet here in FL, even the southern parts of the state will swear up and down that brown recluses live here. However, if you look on a lot of the T FB groups when pretty anyone posts a pic of a brown spider, you get 20+ people claiming its a brown recluse.
They have a pretty unique look to them, I really dont understand how they are confused with other spiders

I have been fascinated with Loxosceles for a long while, and being from KS, I grew up around them. A few years ago I helped collect specimens for a study done at KU headed by Dr. Jamal Sandige on L. reclusa.

They are beautiful critters. But even when I was down in Texas for a summer helping a friend tear down an old house I didn't see a single one, and that's exactly the place and activity where you could reasonably expect to see them. Reclusive indeed!

This is definitely a Cheiracanthium also known as yellow sac spider. Very common in these states I live in Idaho.
