A friend has been offered some Archiblatta hoevenni anyone any info on keeping this species?
Unfortunatly he didn't buy them 'cos they were £10 each and the dealer would only sell them in 10's!! To me the price seemed a bit steep, or should I tell him to get back in touch with the guy and buy them?

Tell him to buy them. They are very seldom for sale and £100 is a fair price for such a rare and attractive species.
Besides, if he manage to breed them, he will soon earn back what he spent.

Sorry for my bad English.

Best wishes

I'll let him know but I think the price was too much for him, especially as he's just lost his rhino roaches (I'm supposed to be meeting him to trade him some of my latest arrivals) If he'd have let me know sooner I might have been able to trade some of my M.rhinoceros for the A.hoevenni.

I know it's been YEARS since this post, but... I was curious if you or he wound up getting them and if you can share any tips as to their care?
