ArachnoRecord Online - Basic Prototype 1: Ready

Hello People!
The first prototype for ArachnoRecord Online is ready.
I will leave it available for people to try it from now:
June 28 2008
20:10 (GMT -6:00) CENTRAL TIME.

Until June 29 2008
9:00 CENTRAL TIME.

THIS WORKS HORRIBLY WITH INTERNET EXPLORER 6.
I RECOMMEND FIREFOX.
I have not tried it with Internet Explorer 7.

Remember this is a prototype, this doesnt actually save any information you type in.. it is simply a basic look and feel of the final application.

I'd appreciate feedback!

My I make a couple of suggestions.

First, could there be a way to add feedings and molts from the main list of Ts?
Is some one is feeding large numbers of T's this needs to be right out front not three clicks down.

You also might want to consider a way of tracking genealogy (is that right for non-humans?) Possibly keeping the egg sacs unique between keepers.

I will add a way to add "feeds" from the main list.. but molts aren't very regular.. I think i'll leave it as is, to keep the main list as least crowded as possible.

And i'm currently trying to figure out how to make the genealogy work out well.. But it is a planned feature

I just cruised through with IE7 and didn't see any glaring issues. The inbox and contacts buttons seemed to go nowhere but i don't know if that was the browser or just not finished part.

From what i've seen so far i think it's very extra special uber-schweet. Nice work!

oh yeah.. those buttons dont do anything yet.. hehe i forgot to make them say "coming soon" , but they are coming soon!

I only suggested the molts as well because, I usually find molts when feeding and they tend to happen in groups. But feedings would be more important.
I would also suggest a field in the molt for Sexing (if already there ignore). I need to add this to my own records but it helps me remember when and how I sexed the T.

Genealogy: If you are uniquely numbering the egg sacks this is a stare. Because then you no the parents, and eventualy you have the grand parents from their sacks. There comes a point when the only info on a T is who owned it last. So if I bought a T from Botar, so it's parents would both be BotarBy8s.
But if Botar had register all his stuff in the records he could give the egg sac number to me and I could enter that in as it's information.
For the display it would have to be a report run for each T stretching back as far as it can.

It was only available yesterday...
I posted some screenshots so you can see how it looked..

When i have a more complete prototype i will make it available again.
