Hi Guys,
Being a High School Junior in the top 6.5% of my class, I thought I might put myself to use.
I just submitted ArachnoLog to Google Play (the Android Market).
This app is designed to help you keep track of your 8 legged collection.
Whilst simple and plain, I designed it so it's easy to use and provides valuable information.
You can enter the Latin name of the T, the given name (or number) of that T, last feed date, and last molt date, as well as a small picture of the specimen.
Easy record keeping for basic info about tarantulas was the whole goal here.
This is intended for Android Phones only. I might end up making a tablet version later on
To use it, enter the values for your t's according to the corresponding columns, then hit the "Press to Save" button which will trigger a vibration and a sound to confirm you have done so.
If you don't, the work will be lost or rolled back to the previous entry's statistics.
Selecting a picture for your T just involves hitting the select button on the far right column and choosing a picture from the gallery. Alternatively, you can access the camera right through the application by hitting the "Take a Photo" button. Once you take the picture, you can either hit "retake," "done," or "cancel." If you hit done and accept the photo, follow the "Select" button procedure.
This app is completely free on the market. There are only 5 rows for a total of 5 tarantulas as of now.
I plan to expand the application further. ALL comments, questions, or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
