Does anybody have a arachnid goal their reaching for? In terms of species you want or a collection is almost complete? Mines still the same collect the giants, in terms of arachnids and myriapods.
T. Blondi ✔
M. Giganteus ✔
G. Swammerdami ✔
P. Horrida ✔
S. White Legs
A. Coronatus
A. Gigas
Maybe the Giant egyptian camel spider, just as a experiment. Of course there are other species I'll add but currently I'm only looking for the species I don't have. Coronatus or the AGM are the next ones hopefully coming available. Let me know what your shooting for. Thanks!

Horrida is a insect I know but I figured it counts for my giants lol.

I just wanted a healthy t stirmi I got sold a sick one with a tumor . It died a year later. I can’t find a job that pays enough to move out retail entry level stuff is like a joke you can’t live on that. so I can’t build a wishlist of Ts and arachnids right now. I would say these are my favorite Ts. I’d start my list with these 6. I only have 4 of them.
1. Lasiodora parahybana
2. Pamphobetus sp. Platyomma
3. T stirmi / Theraphosa stirmi
4. Tliltocatl albopilosus
5. Brachypelma boehmei
Acanthoscurria geniculata

That's a good list I love albopilosus! As for a career I'd recommend a trade apprenticeship like electrician or plumber ect you could even join a union. There's also a sysco near you, i bet, I worked and drove for them almost 3 years, you could drive or do warehouse. Great pay tough work but once you get used to it it's great money. I'd touch 2-2.5 a week, the warehouse guys can make 80k plus major room for growth. Good luck!

electrician or plumber Is too technical/labor intensive and I have trouble standing Long periods so that’s rules out a warehouse. Take this conversation here I don’t want to derail your thread .

Yes my goal is to breed I. mira again but so many this time that I can refer to my spider room as a Trap House, short for Trapdoor House of course. And sling mira slings to anyone who wants some

Same here 😂 My husband is pretty good about me keeping Ts and jumpers, just as long as they're not where he sleeps. 😂

G. pulchripes, preferably a few inches 😂

Our office has slowly turned into an animal room (evil laugh)

Mine are very basic! But I'd like almost all of the brachypelma/tliltocatl species for sure, as vague as that is I just really like all of them and would love one of each eventually.
G. Pulchra, H. pulchripes, definitely T. blondi or stirmi, H.maculata and a H.longpipes again. I've been resisting doing another order since I'm limited on space for now since I'm limited to a certain closed room for now (bf doesn't want the spiders in the open)

That'd be cool getting every brachypelma, I still want some more other inverts that aren't huge brachypelma and grammostola are definitely on the list

If we can add insects as well - need to mention a hercules beetle! Would love to have one but seems it's impossible in my province, have one tattooed on me. I'd settle for any dynastes :bigtears:

It's a long-term goal and it ain't much, just having about 10 species, all in nice glass aquariums.

Currently only have B. hamorii and T. albopilosus, would like a few more standout/classic species such as C. cyaneopubescens, A. geniculata, L. parahybana, B. emilia, T. vagans, P. cancerides, any Grammostola and any Aphonopelma.

Nothing definitive as supply/demand will dictate what I get in the end.

I'll likely always have goals around breeding tarantulas, although admittedly I've started to struggle with finding true challenges in that arena.

Getting back into Scolopendra is sounding more and more enticing by the week though... The problem is space lol

Being realistic now and not joking my wishlist is this. While I do want more tarantulas I currently have a wishlist on other types of animals and maybe some things.

1. Samoyed
2. Akita - Japanese lineage not American Akita
3. Kenyen Zebra Skink
4. Northern Blue Tongue Skink
5. Kenyan Sand Boa
6. Ball Python
7. Chahoua gecko
8. AI Android Wife with remote

Eventually when I have more time and resources, I want to delve more into tarantula breeding. I also would love to start getting into centipedes and snakes when I have more space available....it will take some convincing for my husband, however. I've always been fascinated by solifugae as well but there are still so many unknowns about their husbandry. I read a detailed thread here on the site, but I'd want to learn much more about their requirements first before I'd attempt to keep one.

I'd love to do a 40 gallon desert with galeodes arabs, I just figured they wouldn't last long but with a young one it would be fun to try. Worse case scenario I get a dune scorpion and beetles I guess lol.

My goal is to scale back my collection to 50 or so lol

I have so much art going on currently that 50 would be a very manageable number.
