I just received a Caribena Versicolor and Grammostola Pulchra. They have been in their enclosures for a day and haven't eaten.

You’ll need to give them some time to settle in. The versi needs leaves up high to web in. Both look well fed. There’s no rush.

I would add a fake plant and/or some branches near the top for the versicolor. It will probably web from behind the bark to the top and would benefit from some cover and anchor points for web up there.

They can take a couple days to settle in before they want to eat.

As the others have mentioned, your Caribena versicolor needs something besides a tiny piece of bark and a giant water dish in it's enclosure. They need time to settle in after being rehoused before they'll feel comfortable enough to eat. There's no reason to rush it or to worry if they don't eat for a few days or even a few weeks.

Why would they want to eat? You just rehoused them into a new cage. Give em a few days or a week before trying to feed

The versicolor looks plump already. It might not need to eat again before it molts. No rush...they are extraordinary at conserving energy.

I can't tell about the pulchra due to the head-on angle of the photo.

From what I can see the pulchra won't be needing to eat for a while. Might just be the camera angle but lil bro looks rotund 😆. The versicolor looks to be a healthy size as well.
There's really no reason to worry about getting them to eat asap. I have 1" slings that will happily go a month after a big meal.
Water on the other hand is always important to have.

Do you have a question beyond the boxes?

You should wait at least a week before feeding a new tarantula. They need time to settle in and these guys are looking a bit chunky, so they might be preparing for a molt.
