Last year I was having issues with my iguana not eating. After some vet work, it was determined that even though he looked very masculine, he might be hermaphroditic. They did a couple inconclusive ultrasounds but it was determined he had an impaction from eating newspaper so it wasn't pursued. I started going through the same thing this winter and so I rushed him to the vet after he kept refusing to eat and lost too much weight for me to feel comfortable. They did a couple more ultrasounds and apparently is just a very masculine female. :D I gave her a sandbox and she immediately starting eating after she dug a little bit. She also bit me and I don't have feeling in part of my finger but hey at least it wasn't another impaction. {D
