Anyone know anything about Desert Igaunas?

It seems that my desert igauna Bazak might be ill (unless I am mistaken). Granted I am not an expert on this type of igauna, but I did research before I bought him. He is a juvenile, and I take special care with his diet. He gets the occasional cricket since he really likes to hunt, and he is usually pretty active as far as a lizard can be. But lately he seems to be lathargic and not interested in eating or hunting. I have heard that the exoskeletons of crickets can become impacted in the diegestive track of a lizard. I am just hoping I can get some info, at least to be armed when I take him to a vet. As far as my internet search, I have come up with stuff that I already know. I just want to make sure I can do my best for Bazak. Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated.

How long have you had him? There's always the possibility that he was infected with something when you bought him and it's just taken awhile to manifest itself. I take it you're providing UV? How warm is his basking spot?
