I have a 40g long I was considering doing something with.

I was wondering if you could keep a couple of these together and I heard you have to keep them cooler than most stuff the roomthey will be in stays around 78 but with the water and moist enviroment it should stay alot cooler.

Hi,

Check this site out if you haven't before, I found it is quite helpful:

I own one tiger, I house him alone only because he is aggressive, but I call it all personality :) He has no problems latching on to my finger at feeding time, but lets go, no biting just thinks my finger is food. How big is the housing? There are different views on how many you can keep together, but mostly depends on the enclosure size. I also read that they like it cooler than 78, I sometimes put a ice pack in with him if I feel it is too warm or pop him in the fridge overnight.

Hope this helps, all of that I learned on that site. Good Luck!

you can keep several tigers in a 40 g. i use several inches of top soil w/ a shallow water bowl that i overflow every couple of days. they love to burrow. keep the soil moist , not muddy. offer nightcrawlers and crickets a few times a week. the cooler the room the better. tigers can live for years.

you can keep quite a few in 40 gal tank, i presently have 2 9" inch sals in a 20 gal. try not to keep males together for they will fight each other and try to dominate each other.
