Anyone have an idea what this might be?

I know this is not a Tarantula
Not a brown recluse
Not a barn spider (barn spiders have some white and those 2 humps on their back)

Any further thoughts?

It looks a bit trapdoor spider like, but I don’t think that’s what it is. Canada doesn’t have brown recluse spiders, but you probably knew that.

It just looks like a fat (possibly gravid?) grass spider to me.

I did. I guess I should mention that this wasn't taken by me. I believe this is from the north eastern US. Funny because trap door crossed my mind also but I said nahh.

I believe you would have it with the grass spider. Looks like a match. Thanks
