You have an odd ball IMO lol. My adult female will hair you till she is bald. I also have a sling who assumes the position every time I open it's container. I do think they make great display Ts though. Mine never hide and are quite active at night.

I have two adult females. They definitely don't like to be messed with. When I open their enclosures they raise their butts in the air and start waving them around. It almost looks like a dance, but they are ready to kick hairs like crazy.

yeah, to echo the previous two replies my experience has been they are more than ready to try and hair you, even at a young age. open the enclosure and boom! hair cloud.

also, a little too nervous for my liking to be handling either.

Same here...I actually just fed mine...1 male & 1 big female. I really enjoy my T. okerti...however, they're nervous and love to hair....I can't wait to try and get some slings off of these two....it's gonna be my first mating attempt {D.

Mine is quick to hair, but tends to try and run and hide first. I was actually about to start a post about mine, as well, but I'll just toss it in this thread as well: How much has your's all set up shop/webbed their housing? I've had mine for about two months now but she hasn't really webbed anything, just tends to wander around a bit never really settling in(no not mature male lol, guarantee it). Its not so much a constant wondering, just that shes in a different spot every time I look.

But again to the OP: Mine is like the others as in she's willing to hair at a moments notice(other than the fact that she'd rather run and hide). But she does tend to be out in the open a lot but that's also because she hasn't really webbed anything up and just tends to wonder about. But other than that she rocks and is one of my top Ts just because I think the species looks awesome and their quirky attitude just adds to it. But as far as the handleableness/being a display T, I think you'll find the majority don't fall into this catagory if you do decide to get more(though I still think it's a good idea because overall they're fun)

mines always wandering too, never makes any kind of structural web like avics or taps, just the odd strand here and there. she never uses either of her 2 hides either, just prefers to sit in the open or wander.

My sling is a great eater and is always out and about (except when I pick up the container). It's pretty skittish, but overall I love it.

My 3/4 in sling is pretty calm and a great eater. She stays pretty busy wandering around the enclosure and moving items around (mainly the moss in the enclosure). Great little T in my opinion.
