If so, how did you keep the newly hatched larvae and what did you feed them? Ive got my first hatchlings, and i plan on feeding them aphids for now..but eventually I will need an alternate food source. I will probably use fruit fly pupae, but may also order some silkworm ova...

Anyways, just wanting to hear your guys experiences with them.

Thanks,
Andrew

Aphids (Aphidoidea) are the best food for most species. I've kept some european ladybugs (Adalia, Coccinella and Anatis). They don't need special terrarium and prefer "normal" temperature ( 20 - 25 C).

If the whole friut fly pupa thing doesn't work out, aphids breed pretty quickly. I'm planning on starting a culture on some of my house plants sometime next year so I can feed spiders.

I don't really have a link, but aphids are parthenogenic so I figure as long as they have enough food, they will continue to reproduce.
