It’s true! I can’t help but look for the little things for hours every day. Luckily I have a lot of free time in my life right now. Might as well get some fresh air with it instead of sitting around!

These are all the species I’ve found so far. If you wanna add some spiders to this thread that you’ve found feel free!

I'm in Mississippi, and normally see quite a few. But, here lately I haven't seen that many around my house. Maybe all the anoles, skinks, and Mediterranean geckos are getting them. Not sure

You never said, are you into all spiders or just jumping?

My favorites by far are jumping spiders, and most of what I search for. However I do also like cobweb spiders. There’s one that lives in my window. But I also like other spiders, insects, myriapods, isopods, and other invertebrates. My favorite insects since I was a kid are ants. Favorite myriapod is the millipede. Favorite isopods are rubber ducky!!

Sorry it’s really dusty. I don’t want to mess up its web!

If I listed the number of undescribed mygalomorphs I've found here in Aus id be typing for hours. I don't regret not being allowed to buy exotic spiders at all with the plethora of stuff we have native to us, many of it not yet found!

I found this really beautiful one today! I’ve seen this species before but never this dark bronze color! 98D15E77-E54B-428F-B681-68B41B61C57D.jpeg 663CD98E-8925-4BA8-B581-318C2BDE9CA1.jpeg 00310BB8-98B0-4ACE-B191-4FED2813BBB5.jpeg 20619627-EA6C-4B9E-988B-96C5E81516D8.jpeg

I did some counting and I realized that over the course of 2.5 months, I have found over 100 jumpers! That’s quite a few! If there is anything you guys want me to experiment with, I’ve got enough for a small sample size. I’m currently doing an experiment on what types of honey jumping spiders like the most.
