This species has been said to be native to circumtropical locations, to include Southern Florida (I have a list of locations they are native to, if you would prefer to get an overall average for your ideal keeping). They can be kept like Centruroides from Southern Florida (70s range humidity, 70s-80s Fahrenheit). This species is quite difficult to obtain in the trade, due to their being difficult to locate in the wild.

I just got one of these guys in along with a few Lychas. I've heard the same thing XO said. These guys are communal...right? Is sexing them the same as Centruroides?

Thanks,

W. Smith--may I ask, who's your dealer? Sounds like he/she has some great scorps!

do you know what sp. of Lychas they are? And about how big are they?

Also, jper26, I live fairly close to you, would you mind telling me where around here you go for scorps? I'd be interested to know.

Thanks.
Chris

Reitz I usually order my scorps online. But sometimes (That fish place) in lancaster gets some nice scorps in. I have got 2 Parabuthus leiosoma there. Scorps they have had over the last few months are black claw mafia, red claw emporer, tri colors, scorpio marus. I went there about 2 weeks ago all they had was tri colors and emps but they are always getting new stuff in.
