They are not true spiders and belong to the class Pycnogonida. Scientists aren't even sure of the correct classification, ie. are they closely related to arachnids, crustaceans, etc. My guess they would be very difficult to find (collect) and maintain in captivity. I've seen little on their feeding habits, except that they are predaceous and feed with a proboscis.
