My last spider until my males start to mature and leave. I've got 110 so my wife says no more lol. 2 inch female Homoeomma orellanai.

I mean, if you've already got that many, an extra 3 or 4 is like less than 5%... The more you get, the smaller the percentage each additional spider counts for, so by that logic, there's no reason to stop. LOL!! She's beautiful, by the way. Dwarf species are the way to go - more bang for your buck!

Once it became clear that 7 of my Phormictopus, a Xenesthis and LP were females, I realized that a lot of space was about to be gobbled up by 9 spiders. So I pivoted to dwarfs for more spiders per square foot lol. I love the big girls, but it does limit my collection size and there are still so many cool spiders out there.

Congratulations on the Lasiadora very nice haul .


I broke again. After waiting months for them to be available, been watching this sac in great anticipation,
2 Brachypelma baumgarteni slings (at an extremely stupid price hence only 2 but i need my female ) coming hopefully next week pics will follow as soon as they do .

not yet, i still have to find the two last ones,
Lasiodora franciscana & Lasiodora camurujipe
the dream would be to one day have a female of each side by side

but for now i might have to reduce my numbers a bit (there are a few species i am less in love with, that i may need to find a good home for as well as some males), before i get any more & there is still the 0.1 Poecilotheria metallica i will get today...
