Aww, these are cool and YES, they make quite good pets. :-D You only need to find something good-sized for them to eat. Good luck! :)

that was the trouble i had the last time i tried to keep pscorps

now i have springtails and want to try them again :)

interesting note: some sp. of pscorps actually have venom.. in their CLAWS!

and pscorps are well known for phoresy... that is stealing rides from other flying bugs or birds

Thats a HUGE specimen! O_O that looks like it could easily take pinhead crix, perhaps maybe even week old ones! Let us know how it goes and post feeding pics!

How can you know it's size? :?

That's a nice find! be sure to give it good humidity, they simply LOVE it (that's they're chillin in the bathroom often)...besides, they can dry out quickly. feed it wingless fruitflies or other very small prey, like pinhead like it was already pointed out.

Pscorps can spin a silk cacoon of sorts as well, they are very interesting arachnids.

It's fascinating - I've never seen anything like it. I'd only heard of such things recently and I'm really regretting living in this invertless desert!

I have only seen very tiny ones, where can these larger ones be found? I found the small ones in leaf litter.
