This should be a fairly easy question what type of highly predatory ants are found in MN? Basically I want an ant species native here that will tear an adult feeder cricket to shreds, along with exibitying interesting behaviors. The ants I have currently wont even touch the midges I offer them. And the larger one does not have babies yet. So to summarize a highly predatory ant that is native here.

Thanks.

Almost every ant species will do that except some species of Lasius and Acanthomyops which dwell underground feeding off root aphids...

And don't expect anything like an army ant... Not all ants are that vicious lol.
