Is anyone aware of any antrodiaetidae being found in the state of Mississippi? I believe I've found two different sizable populations in the state while looking for other mygalomorphs. It has been a while since I've gone out to look for spiders in general because I've been preoccupied with other hobbies but here is an old picture I managed to find. This spider came out of a folding door style burrow. If I am mistaken and this is something other than antrodiaetus please correct me. Thanks

While it’s purely anecdotal evidence, I have definitely seen spiders like this living in Mississippi (half my childhood); I was always digging around in cellars and stuff to find creatures and creepy crawlies. This looks like an Antro at least. If I remember correctly, I once brought a U. audouini home and my grandparents freaked lol. They were particularly sensitive to spiders. The story goes that my grandpa had been bitten by a black widow at 32 and almost died, and his hair turned completely white. Though he definitely had white hair at 32, who knows whether it was a black widow or not:lol:
