I have read bite reports of the Antilles Pinktoe Tarantula and I was surprised because I had and avic avic and I never had a problem with him. Are the avicular versicular's more aggressive than the avic avic?

I wouldnt say that versi's are aggressive, a bit more skittish/jumpy than an avic avic but none of mine have even shown a threat display. They can run quick though lol.

My adult female avic avic can be snarky when she wants. She is rather defensive about her "turf", and doesn't appreciate hands in her enclosure. She is actually much better out of her house then in.
Any T can bite, and just because a species is generally calm and docile doesn''t mean much. They are individuals and some can still be rather defensive. A short while ago our juvie G. pulchra snapped at Matthias, granted, she was very hungry at the time, but who knows, we could have a pulchra with a bad attitude.
