Another what is it

I was in the tub and went to turn on the jets (jacuzzi tub). I looked down and there he is, this spider, in the water. I guess he was living in one of the jets. I jumped out and got a cup to catch him in. Unfortunately he didn't make it. Can anyone identify this guy or gal?

hehe sorry im no good with common spiders unless they're small, black and have red hourglass shapes on them
