I took this video not too long ago, I have more but they're on my phone and I have to port them over to the laptop, but! This is Neith! Doin' a wiggle.

I adore her, she's very gentle and sweet. Never bitten a soul.

That's adorable! By the way you might want to replace the mesh lid, Neith could climb up on the the mesh lid and potentially get the hooks on her feet stuck in that mesh and that could be very dangerous for her, I would recommend replacing the mesh lid with a something like this.

I know, I just got this new tank! But so far she doesn't seem interested in climbing too high, or on the mesh. It's metal so I'm feeling okay with it for now. But I'll look into getting it replaced when I can! I am a little worried however. Again, as a first time spider owner, let alone a rescue, I'm learning along the way and I don't see her get up off the ground too often, nor web?

Is something wrong or is she just not a climber by personality?

I don't think anything is wrong with your tarantula, she probably just doesn't want to climb right now, but she will probably decide to climb sooner or later, just keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't get stuck until you get that lid replaced and it should be fine.

Thank you so much! I'm so afraid I'm doing somehing wrong, so I'm taking in all the information possible! I want to take the best care of her that I can! It was much better than her last home where she was basically abandoned and not fed or watered regularly. My heart ached for the poor thing. I.. .I don't even know how old she is. : (

So again, thank you! I'm willing to take any advice I can! And if it makes you feel better, I check on her daily to make sure she's doing well. I'm very hypervigilant with this spidere's welfare. TuT

I really like that lid, especially with the handle, latches, and hinges. When I move my T. stirmi into a new enclosure, I think I'm going to give this a shot.
