Androctonus molting questions

Hi, my androctonus gonneti is deep in premolt. 5i to 6i. I'm interested in what people have to say about their humidity and molting requirements. My friend who I got her from said all I need to do is spray the cage a little everyday once she is refusing food and is visibly bulging. Keeping it dry otherwise. I am doing as told. He keeps hundreds, many in deli cups and doesn't struggle with molts. However, in care sheets and other places online, I can't seem to find mention of doing anything in preparation for androctonus molts. I care for other scorpion species at work but don't deal with super arid species. Any advice is appreciated.

I just do my normal mist down a corner once a week. I am too paranoid about mycosis to risk add too much humidity

My Androctonus molt just fine even if it's been weeks/months between mistings. You can get them to molt sooner (once they're already in premolt) by misting more often. This is a helpful trick for slow growing species that may be in premolt for extended periods.
