Does he have them on his website? I came across some of his snake pictures, but the only anaconda I remember seeing was a smaller picture of him in the corner holding his adult green (Awesome looking, by the way. I just love something about the anacondas. I think it's their fat heads and double chins ;P)
100% untouched. I still have it on the memory card that I took it on
I took a total of around 130 shots, I was bound to get a decent tongue shot eventually
I guess it does look a bit funny (The red light along the side)
But I'm pretty sure the red light is from the camera, reflecting off the tongue. It shines a redish/orange light while it tries to focus and keeps shining it even when you take the picture (If you block the flash, everything turns orange from the light)
That or it's just some strange motion blur.
The only editting I did was resizing it and lowering the quality a little so it was a smaller pic. (It WAS 5mb, now it's 500kb)
If that's what you want to believe, I obviously can't change your mind.
But I will say my photoshop skills (Something I don't even own, by the way) are laughable at best.
I don't see any of the pixelation that you mention, except that red flare, but I already explained what I *think* that is. I think any other "funniness" could be contributed to the fact that a snake tongue doesn't just hang out like a dogs, but actually moves.
And why would I photoshop a tongue onto the picture? If the first shot with the tongue in it was that clear, why would I tack it on to another picture? Unless you're accusing me of drawing the tongue by hand. I wish that were true and I was that much of an artist, but I'd be lying to myself in believing it.
