Amblypygid ID

Bought him from a local pet store labeled as Damon diadema, upon closer inspection it looks suspiciously similar to Phrynus whitei. Can anyone weigh in and help ID this guy?

Ah well, I would have picked it up regardless because it's so rare to see these in pet stores, but still kinda disappointed since I've never managed to find a Damon sp. Thanks for the help.

is it just coincidence that P. whitei has... white spots around its eyes?

I am not sure but I think they often have red spots there instead of white when mature. Plus I'm sure I've seen other invertebrates with the species name whitei, so I'm guessing it's just someone's name?
