Ohmigod....

So my girlfriend called me yesterday saying "would you go online and look up what a Thai tiger is please?" I told her that I didn't really need to since common names are so useless, but that it is most likely a haplopelma species of some sort or another. I then asked the obvious question: "why?"

She proceeds to tell me that she's at a petstore that has a "thai tiger" that as she said, "looks exactly like your suntiger". So I had her take a pic and send it to me. Lo and behold, what do I see before me but a 6" female P. irminia.

I respond with "how much does he want for it?" The response almost made me pee myself.... "$40.00"

I've now got a beautiful, healthy, massive, female P. irminia...

not only is this my favorite T, but I have a probable male to breed with her.......

FOR $40.00

I'm not a fan of buying from petstores, or of buying WC specimines, but I'll be damned if I could pass that deal up.....

Thought I'd share, as that I'm so excited that I am about to explode...{D {D {D {D {D {D

wow!!! Cool deal indeed! Unfortunately here in the Philippines you don't get to visit a T store selling cheap stuff.

No pix yet, as that it's not made it's way up here to me yet. Gimme another week or two, haha.

Russ, she found it at Tropic Fishpond in Royal Oak (dirty nasty place that sometimes has something OK) I hate the shop, but she couldn't pass that deal up, and I"m glad that she didn't.
