Exactly that. The female runs away
She's just not that into him.

Jokes aside, are you certain both are mature? Are they in a stress-free environment? Does the female have a well-established web? Has the male approached her? How much time have you given them, and under what conditions?

Female has made a web. I don’t know if they mature both are about an inch probably inch and a half. I left them alone for long periods of time. Really confused. 23141916-C442-4C20-8612-2058BFF01ECB.jpeg

i suppose though the male has a very complex pedipalp structure
I started keeping Callobius Severus, (sort of similar to Amourobius Ferox, right?) early this year and have one large fatty female. I then found a male in May wandering around, he had pretty big pedi-palps, and since he was roaming around inside the house, I thought he may be looking for a lady friend. A month or so ago I put him in an enclosure with my big girl...nothing. I have since rehoused the female in a larger enclosure so if I wanted to try again, it could just be done without moving her. I have a couple other males I assumed were mature, based on their palps, I was going to release Bachelor #1 but instead rehoused him also. I have been waiting for Big Mama to get comfy in her new enclosure to try again, but, (sorry this is long but here is the dramatic ending)...tonight when I went into my spidey room to check on everyone, I was startled to see the almost transparent and much larger Bachelor #1 sitting next to his molt! I hadn't seen any real signs of him preparing to molt, so it was cool to see. Anyway, moral of story...he apparently wasn't mature the first time. Good luck!
