We did not have to work today because of a typhoon so me and the kids went out to look for beetles. we found quite a few what i believe to be Allomyrina dichotomus. I also broke open a log with 2 pupating Allomyrina dichotomus. We also saw many many pieces of dead ones. It was a great trip, found probably over 100 larvae (kept maybe 20). Pictures to come later as they are still in my backpack awaiting rehousing.
i also found a nice centipede...this time i think i finally found my first scolo, but that is another topic.
anyway i will post pictures of the finds and their new homes when i get them setup. these will be my first rhino breeding project, i am pretty excited.
