Does anyone know when allegheny mound ants make there nuptual flight? particularly in the central maryland area. I know other large ants tend to make there flights mid-late spring after a rain. I found several of these guys nest and wanted to start a colony but there a lil too aggressive to go poking at there awesome mound-city.
