well early this morning about 10am while i was waiting for my new Ts to arrive i checked on charlotte my female G.pulchra and there was tons of ants in her enclosure so i freaked out!!! my dumbass left a cricket in their and it died and thats what attracted the ants! :eek: :wall: :embarrassed: a few were on her as well,i called alex right away and he walked me through what to do,thanks to his advice she is doing very good now and her enclosure is now ant free,thanks a million alex,your a good friend!!! :worship: i learned my lesson NEVER NEVER leave ANY crickets at all!!! in the enclosure!so im probally going to go half on some b.dubia roaches,screw crickets!!! :evil: but alex is the man!!! ;)

There is nothing wrong with crickets, the problem is that you left a food item in there. Just as well could have been anything else.

I am glad your T. is ok though. :D

crickets are awful little things D: If you have the chance always pic roaches as your feeder!

Glad you and alex saved your pulchra irishknight! :D

I have never had a problem with crickets personally.

Not that I would not mind starting my own roach colony mind you. It was hard enough getting my wife to accept my ever growing T. collection. I have mentioned roaches a few times and she is just too grossed out at the idea. So I count my blessings and let sleeping dogs lie as they say! {D

OMG, are you and Charlotte both okay, Pat? I'm so sorry!! Don't worry, I'm sure you caught it in time.
Just remember, an adult female Charlotte's size isn't always going to eat a lot. Only offer one food item at a time and make sure you see her eat before offering more.

thanks everyone!! yeah she is okay and acting like shes back to normal,already going in her hide and on top of it haha:D

Who is Alex? He sounds like someone I should know to call on, in case of T emergencies.

Glad your female is okay and was rescued from the ants in time. Wish my pulchras were of a decent size. Someday.
