Just came across an ad on another sites classifieds (notsure if its against the rules to post)

I have what I believe to be a albino female Chile rose tarantula, this is one of only two ever found out of the hundreds of thousands of chile rose trantulas shipped from there.
The spider is a long term captive and ready to breed.
<edit>

Anyone have any kind of information on this?

Heres a pic.

Looks like an RCF (Red Color Form) G. rosea to me. AFAIK there is no such thing as albinism in spiders as their coloration is entirely from irridescence rather than pigmentation.

I have a G. rosea that looks very much like the one in that picture, it's not really that rare, just less common than the normal color form.

Look, I got this one for $15

I agree with Ethan.

That price tag is ridiculous.

as far as i know albino can only be had with things that have pigments. which tarantulas do not have....long story short. there can not be any albino tarantula.;)

im not even sure if "albino millipedes" are true albino's.(correct me if im wrong)

....ok. Or it could just be a RCF like Moltar said.....or its not a G.rosea at all. As was stated, albino tarantulas are in the same category as pigmy unicorns.

What aload of crap lol! No such thing as albinosim in spiders! As has already been pointed out, only pigments can cause the albino gene, T's dont have pigmentation.

The OP is either extremely ignorant in the subject of basic tarantula facts, or he's a scammer trying to make it rich by ripping people off.

First off It isnt my ad so i have nothing to do with it.

Second I saw this and was curious about it because I had heard there cant be albino tarantulas but never read into why though. Saw this and wanted to know.

It obviously looked diffrent from a normal rose hair so I had some questions about it.

How about instead of being extremely ignorant accusing me of things you sit back and read what I asked.

Have any of the naysayers seen a tarantula molt? An albino tarantula (if one existed) wouldn't have white setae. I saw the photo before the link broke and it looked like the body was white under the setae, but the photo was tiny and inconclusive.
